I forgot where and from I heard that life is a cycle. In my head, it’s a cycle of what, exactly? If death is inevitable in the course of human existence, then is life merely the progress one makes to reach the grave?
Birth, school, work, procreation, more procreation (or none, depending on one’s preference or limitations), work some more, and then death. How simple should it be? Somewhere in between are taxes and throw in a bit of debt, the two things that are probably most certain on the straight course. Throw in a bit of hard work and innovation to accelerate the travel on the obvious path towards extinguishing oneself. Throw in a bit of idiocy to put the pedal to the metal.
